We are a small, family owned, lawncare and gardening company here in Rotorua that needs some help over the summer.

This is a fixed term position but with the option to become permanent.

All Uniform, PPE gear and relevant job related training will be provided.

ABOUT THE JOB
Gardening experience preferred but not essential. If you can prove to us that you are hardworking and reliable, we want to hear from you!

Our work includes Mowing, Regular Garden Maintenance and One-Off Garden Tidy projects; incl general Garden tidy tasks, and trimming of shrubs and smaller hedges, weeding etc.

ABOUT YOU
You will need to have a good attitude, be reliable and be someone who is keen to learn and grow on the job.

• You will be a hardworking, energetic individual with a great attitude who takes pride and ownership in their work.
• You will are both a punctual and consistent person with a friendly attitude.

You'll also have the following attributes;
• Ability to work to follow direction and work to set schedules.
• Class 1 licence.
• Physically fit (lifting is involved - 25kgs).
• Ability to tolerate working in various weather conditions.

It would be an advantage if you;
• Can drive a Manual Vehicle.
• Can reverse with a trailer attached.
• Have used lawnmowers and weedeaters before.

THE COMPANY
We are a family owned, Lawncare and Gardening Company here in Rotorua.

THE ROLE
This is a full time, fixed term position but with the option to become permanent.

The day-to-day work is a mixture of Mowing Lawns and Gardening Tasks for our customers in and around Rotorua.
This role offers variety in jobs and locations plus a great working environment. Your weekends are free as we offer regular weekday hours.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
• Ability to work consistently and independently while following directions
• Hungry to work and see results from their efforts
• Punctual and consistent person
• Excellent communication skills

You'll also have the following skills and attributes;
• Be physically fit - heavy lifting will be involved (~25kgs)
• Full NZ Drivers Licence
• Not afraid of a little sun, wind or rain! (PPE provided)
• Can drive a Manual Vehicle.
• NZ Residency or Valid NZ Work Visa

It would be an advantage if you;
• Can reverse with a trailer attached.
• Have previous mowing and/or gardening experience.

About the role;

This is a full time position with the option of an immediate start.

This role would suit you if you want some flexibility in your hours, to work in the great outdoors, like to work with your hands and love to see results from your efforts.

The work we will be undertaking is lawn mowing and gardening services in the Rotorua area.

We are seeking a part time employee to help us out. This role would suit you if you want flexibility in your hours, to work in the great outdoors, like to work with your hands and love to see results from your efforts.

The successful applicant is;
- hard-working and able to do physical labour
- motivated and self-managing
- positive with a friendly attitude

Preferred attributes;
- Has a full, clean license and knows how to drive a manual vehicle with a trailer attached
- Has used lawnmowers and weedeaters before - a bonus if they’ve also used chainsaws, hedgetrimmers and other garden machinery.

It is also a bonus if you have any plant or agriculture specific knowledge.

Due to the COVID 19 lockdown, we're not going to be able to mow your lawns and do gardening for the foreseeable future. We will get back out there as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.
