NO BETTER THYME TO PLANT HERBS

Herbs are underrated stars in the ornamental garden. You don’t just have to plant them for use in the kitchen – they can fill so many other niches!

- Use creeping thyme as an alternative to grass around paving stones and hardscape; it will release its scent as you walk over it. Regular thyme makes a compact, mounding groundcover.
- Many herbs will attract pollinators to your garden, especially borage, lavender, and rosemary.
- Catmint, golden marjoram, and purple sage can provide subtle colour accents in the ornamental garden, as well as a dash of country charm!
- Prostrate rosemary looks great spilling over a retaining wall or high garden edge, and its low maintenance – just give it a hard prune if it looks a bit woody.

We have a variety of herbs available in the garden centre year round so come in for a look!
