🚧 One project we tackled caused by a vehicle mishap at our local Tint Shop here in Taupo.

Here's what we accomplished:
- Replaced exterior corrugated iron panels
- Upgraded and fitted shop entrance door
- Fresh coat of paint for the external wall
- Refreshed inner wall linings and replaced damaged studs
- Prevented future flooding with a strip drain installation
- Enhanced Safety with a new judder bar speed bump

The bottom of this ply cladding had gone rotten over time due to the rain water not having anywhere to escape past the decking which had signs of rot at the ends as well.
As this was not a normal every day job we came up with a plan to correct the situation and make sure it never happened again. We repaired this by cutting the ply and rotten ends of the decking back. As this type of ply is no longer available, we had to machine it all ready for install. We also installed custom metal flashings so that the water flowed away nicely and had no where to sit.

Something a little different -
I have some very close mates who were wanting to get a new bed for their 3 year old daughter who has cerebral palsy which needed to be higher than a normal bed for lifting her in and out. So, to make sure they got what they really needed, I was more than happy to build this custom king single bed for them.
The only thing I had to work with was the mattress they had already purchased and a couple of photos from them on what they wanted it to look like.
They bought the materials and I gave my time to create this for this beautiful little girl.
An awesome project to do.

The lads at J&S have been super busy and haven’t posted anything on Facebook in a while. Apologies for this, we have a mountain of jobs to share.

As you can see on this job, the roof was the steepest one we have encountered yet.
Full roof repaint along with fascias, barge boards and spouting.
Won’t lie, the steepness of this roof was a little scary but what a difference this has made.
This has extended the life of the roof and improved the overall appearance of the house!
