Acacia Bay Nursery was founded in 1984. We provide the residents of Taupo a wide selection of high-quality products and services to enhance and beautify homes and gardens throughout all seasons. We carry a wide variety of trees, shrubs, evergreens, perennials, annuals and much more. With our vast assortment in various sizes, you have the ability to select

Now is a good time to wash your fruit trees!

Once the leaves fall off and the trees are dormant, start a winter spray program to protect your trees from fungal and bacterial diseases and insect pests that can affect your next harvest.
This is important if you had problems last season.

🪾 First spray with a copper or sulphur based spray to deal with overwintering insect pests and fungal spores. Try Yates Lime Sulfur or Yates Copper Oxychloride.

🪾 Then follow up with an oil-based spray to smother eggs and larvae and provide a protective barrier against further problems. Try Yates Conqueror Oil.
You may need to wait a few weeks between sprays; always read the instructions.

For best results:
🍎 Thoroughly cover the tree.
🍑 Spray in the early morning or late afternoon on a still, dry day.
🍏 Wear protective equipment.
