Mulching at my mums place involves a tractor and scoop! My mum is 75 and has been looking after her beautiful garden by herself until this year, so now Rob and I make the trip to Auckland once a month to help her out 😁❤️

Been a very busy bee over the last couple of months transforming my front yard, my aim is to have no lawn at all 😆😆 Eventually I’ll have my art studio where the fort is😁😁I didn’t use any sprays to kill the lawn but built up the 4 garden beds with layers of cardboard and a compost mix. I’ve planted buxus, pittosorum topiary balls, lambs ears, lavender and will put in tulip bulbs shortly. I’ll also put in some roses and eventually a Japanese maple in the centre. I get lots of inspiration form the gardens I maintain and love bringing ideas home!
