At Kererū Gardens, we believe that transforming your garden into a lush haven shouldn’t break the bank. That’s why we are thrilled to offer all our plants at an affordable price, we open every weekend friday, saturday and sunday 10am till 2pm. (Closed January and February)
We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, cash and cheques. Give us a call or message if you are looking for something in particular. :)

The days are officially getting longer!! HURRAH!

I know winter really is just starting, but I’ll tell you this, the plants really notice more sunshine hours! I recon sunlight hours have a larger effect than temperature .. that is just my thoughts personally as a grower though haha

If you are wanting to get the most out of the spring growth, now is the time for planting. The nursery is looking great, great grade and fantastic selection… all for just $7.50 each!!!

It’s another glorious winter day out there again today!
I just had to highlight our leptospermum today as they are in full flower at the nursery and really putting on a show!

Good morning gardeners!

Slightly less cold this morning, have had to de-ice my car a few times this week so winter really feels like it’s here.
But that doesn’t mean your garden has to feel dormant! Our Escallonia White Knight is flowering right now at the nursery. I saw a monarch butterfly enjoying it yesterday

We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10 am until 2 pm and of course all our plants are just $7.50 each

WOOH! Long weekend!! Happy kings birthday y’all!

It’s quite nice to get some rain, it’s actually been a pretty dry autumn. But as we greet the first day of winter it seems like the rain has come along too, but not the cold! As I type this my phone tells me it’s 16 degrees and we’ll have a high of 18!
Honestly you can’t ask for better planting weather.

Friendly reminder we are open today 10am until 2pm, I know! On a Monday? Who am I? Hahah

It’s not currently raining, but we do have umbrellas for the keen gardeners who venture out in this weather.

Oh! Final thing! Who saw the ad in the paper? Let me know. I’m trying out some more traditional advertising as there are too many people in the bay paying too much for plants because they don’t know about us, and that’s just a crime!! So comment below who still get the paper and if you noticed my pretty face in it hahah
