This centrally located 3 bedroom Mount Maunganui beach townhouse sits on a compact site, just a stone’s throw from the beach. Our client wanted to make the most of their space by transforming the garage into a welcoming guest retreat.

Working within the constraints of the existing structure – including plumbing, laundry services, structural walls and pipework – the design was carefully resolved so everything feels intentional rather than compromised.

The result is an interior fit-out aligned with council requirements that maximises space and creates a comfortable, inviting place for guests to stay.

The logotype takes cues from the fluid movement of melted chocolate – rich, smooth, and expressive. Its organic form reflects the diversity of the festival experience, from bold flavours to delicate textures.

We wanted the identity to feel indulgent yet refined, capturing a sense of discovery and sensory delight while remaining versatile across touchpoints.

Terane Gin captures the raw beauty of New Zealand’s landscapes through bold, small-batch distillation. Hand-foraged native botanicals and meticulous craftsmanship come together to create a gin that is grounded, expressive, and quietly refined.

Positioned in the premium craft spirits market, Terane Gin speaks to discerning drinkers who value provenance, authenticity, and design-led thinking. It balances untamed inspiration with precision, offering an elevated yet unpretentious experience rooted in place.

The brand identity reflects this duality. A strong, serif logotype with subtle irregularities conveys confidence, heritage, and craft, while the contour-line brand pattern – drawn from the Kaimai Ranges – anchors the visual language in the land itself. Earthy tones, tactile uncoated stocks, and restrained embossing create a system that feels elemental yet refined.

Unified by the brand statement Wildly Refined, Terane Gin’s design and voice work together to express a spirit shaped by nature and perfected through craft.

Good spaces don’t happen by accident – they start with an idea, explored and tested long before anything is built.

This outdoor area was carefully designed, with every detail refined before coming to life on site. Created as a wellness and recovery zone, it includes a spa, hot outdoor shower, an outdoor callisthenics rig, and space set aside for a future sauna.

Thoughtful planning ensures the space works hard functionally, while sitting comfortably alongside the home it belongs to.

We love our ongoing collaboration with Counties Franklin and – helping turn dream homes into beautifully resolved spaces.

Partnering with Sentinel gives us the opportunity to bring thoughtful design thinking into the group-home sector – refining proportions, elevating details, and transforming standard plans into homes with real architectural presence. It’s a space where we get to add value, quietly strengthen the vision, and ultimately help our clients shine.

The main black board-and-batten home will sit quietly in the landscape, with clean lines and a grounded presence. Nearby, a bold red corrugated-metal barn will provide a strong, unified counterpart. We’re excited to share the .nz brand we created earlier this year. WH Goods is a locally grounded retail brand built on quality, practicality, and community. The identity draws on a modern take of retro 90s aesthetics, blending trust and familiarity with a fun, approachable energy that reflects the brand’s connection to North Waikato and the lasting relationships they nurture there.

The overall brand design communicates warmth, reliability, and approachability. From the green and beige colour palette to bold, simple typography, patterns, and graphics, every element works together to create a cohesive, vibrant, and friendly identity. A small but distinctive detail – the sprouting “G” – nods to WH Goods’ agricultural roots and commitment to sustainability, perfectly reflecting the brand’s local and practical ethos.

We’re excited to share the Meta Living New Zealand brand we created this year. Meta Living is a mindful lifestyle brand rooted in the belief that slowing down isn’t about moving slowly – it’s about being present, creating space for stillness, and finding small moments of calm in everyday life. Their values of self-care, mindfulness and sustainability guided every part of the identity we crafted.

The logotype features refined serifs with beautifully balanced proportions, creating a timeless, calm, and considered feel, while the emblem – a hand-drawn lotus woven into the letter M – symbolises resilience, transformation, and inner growth. Its organic style brings warmth and authenticity, perfectly aligning with Meta Living’s natural, holistic ethos and the intentional way they approach every product they create.
