The secret? 👉 Resene Laminate & Melamine Primer. Get it on before the undercoat and top coats, and create a chip-proof, long-lasting finish. Skip it, and your paint job will look like 💩

Going neutral is not as “vanilla” as it sounds. There, I said it. Choosing the right neutral is an art - and trust us, we know paint! So here’s how to pick the perfect shade for your space without the guesswork.

1. All Neutrals Are Not Created Equal 😱
Sure, “neutral” sounds simple—but we’ve got warm neutrals, cool neutrals, and that oddball somewhere in between. The secret sauce? Match your neutral to the room’s vibe. Got cool lighting (south-facing)? Go for a warm neutral. Warm lighting (north facing)? A cooler neutral might be your bestie 😉

2. Test Big, Not Small.
Paint a BIG square on the wall. Trust us, neutrals change like chameleons in different light. 🤯 Seriously just do it, you’ll thank us later.

3. The 3-Wall Hack.
Want to add depth without being too bold? Try this: paint three walls in a light neutral and the fourth in a darker shade. Instant depth without screaming “accent wall!” You’re welcome 😉

4. Trim it Right.
Glossy white trims with your neutral walls? Chef’s kiss. But if you want something different, match your trim to the wall colour in a satin finish. That’s next-level 🤌
