I want to share with you all something that has grabbed my attention. I've just been through Panama and now in Costa Rica. Today I am taken back by the accommodation we are staying in and how this is all possible in NZ.

60% of the species I'm seeing are successful in NZ. The remaining 40% we have excellent look a like substitutes.

We are blessed at home with moderate temperate climate. Generally reasonable water levels. We however have the strongest brutal sun and at times no dappled light.

The true measure of species selection is light exposure and wind exposure. Managing these results in immaculate looking specimens

Then rest is a walk in the park...
