While the past 2 weeks of bad weather meant we couldn’t go on the trips we were looking forward to, we did manage to use the time to get some things done. Did a short drive to Thames to pick up some seedlings. Got them in the ground today so fingers crossed the slugs will leave them alone. Also took advantage of the sodden ground and got started on my lean to shelter for my ride on. Blessed…

More additions to the garden, makeshift planter boxes. One out of pallets and the other an old fruit bin. Currently just up cycling whatever we could get for free with the hope to replace them when due. There will be some finishing touches to make them look better plus putting in pebbles for the foot path. It will be a slow process but definitely one that I enjoy immensely.

What could be better than spending day 1 of 2023 in the garden! Took advantage of today’s cloudy and windy day. Found some beautiful hedging plants on marketplace plus bought some bargain lavenders. Koji was enjoying the sun and keeping me company, then I heard a crunch crunch sound. I ended up with one plant shorter than the rest!

Managed to get my hands on a beautiful Jacaranda as my wife always wanted one. So the restoration of the garden now begi...

Managed to get my hands on a beautiful Jacaranda as my wife always wanted one. So the restoration of the garden now begins with clearing the corner where it’s going to go.
