Here are some pictures from our latest and also our last painting job.

After 13 odd years of painting I have decided to put my tools away to focus on another area in the trades which is building 🔨

I have been offered a full time job with a local builder with the chance of an apprenticeship.
This opportunity will greatly benefit me and my family with our future plans to build our off grid dream over tongariro.

I would love to give a huge shout out to the following ppl.

I am soo happy to say that In a few more hours we will be completing our last job for the year and heading back home to Turangi 🥳 What a year it’s been and I’m kinda glad it’s over 😅

We will be shutting down and turning off our phones for the next 4 weeks to spend quality time with our families as we have been mainly working away from home for the past 4-5 months.

Big shout out to all my clients. If it wasn’t for all of you I wouldn’t be doing what I love for myself.

From my family to yours have an amazing Xmas and new year with your loved ones. Stay blessed, stay safe and don’t be a grinch 🎄

She was a bit too windy for my liking on day 2 of the 2nd tank 💨😵‍💫

After I washed half of the very top i decided to stop and have a quick toolbox meeting as it was just too windy and unsafe to wash the rest from above 🫣

We made a different plan to wash the other half from the backside as the tank was blocking me from the wind 😅

Once the top was done we were away and it didn’t take long to get it all done 💪🏻

Overall it was a pretty cool experience and when you feel safe and have the proper gear it makes the job seem less scary 🤣

Shout out to Carus Hamilton for the job and going above and beyond to insure that we are as safe as possible while doing this dangerous job.

An even bigger shout out to my worker meketu for spotting me, making sure the water hose was out of my way, keeping an eye on the tanker drivers and keeping an eye out so nothing got damaged in the process. It may have seemed like you weren’t doing much but if an emergency situation did arise I know you would have been there to spring into action and I appreciate that most of all 🙏🏻

I got asked the other day how are you with heights? I’m ok I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not a fan over 10 meters tho 🙅🏻‍♂️ why is that 🤔

Boy do we have a job for you 🤣

Here’s one of our latest contract jobs. A full wash down of these 2 storage tanks

I was told a 16m cherry picker should be able to get the job done but I maxed it out at the top front of the tank. We ended up having to get a 21m boom lift trucked in to get the job done 💪🏻

We were called back to prime and paint a couple of extra 100x100s that were added to the existing posts.

They were needed to prop up the roof to were it should’ve been. It was sagging and water was pooling at the wrong end of the spouting.

We were called in to stain this whole fence after repairs were made.

After a couple of touch ups and a good clean up of site this job is done again 🤘🏻🤘🏻

These fences have been a good challenge 😉😉
Thank goodness the colour mix up wasn’t on me and this was an extra because it made this little easy job soo much more enjoyable 🫠
