✅ **Ellebags – what's the difference between them and Ellepots?**

Our Ellebags use the same proven growing concept but with one key difference: a "sealed bottom".

This helps prevent soil loss during handling and planting, making them more robust and practical in all situations. And they are degradable - just plant them in the ground as is.🌱

‼ WaiNot Native Nursery is proud to be the only nursery in New Zealand manufacturing its own Ellebags on-site.‼

This season we’re giving autumn planting another go 🌱

After a small trial last year that showed some really promising results, we’ve decided to step it up and grow some more seedlings through the winter months inside the nursery.

On the list this year: Kānuka, Mānuka, Coprosma Robusta, Coprosma Propinqua, Kahikatea, and Lemonwood.🌳🌳

We’re looking forward to seeing how they perform over winter — always learning and improving each season‼

Over ANZAC weekend we wandered through the beautiful Centennial Park Gardens in Rotorua, taking in the stunning landscapes — especially the native planting area. 🍂🌿

What an incredible space to explore, with autumn colours putting on a real show. A fantastic local spot well worth a visit!

Sunday R&R walking the Granddog on the runoff. Looking over Waikite Valley towards the Horohoro Bluffs. Very peaceful out here but looks like rain brewing.
