It is the end of an era. We are on the move. After 27 years. Broken hearted to leave but happy because lovely local people with kids are taking this beautiful place on.
We have sold all the plant stock, recycled and rehomed most of the nursery equipment, pots, w**d mat, hail netting etc.
It was very important to us that we didn't dump things. There are so many useful things when you live on a few acres.
Luckily the new whanau want to use and reuse things as well.
Thanks to all our lovely clients who became friends.
It is such a beautiful industry with good kind people.
I have enjoyed everyone I meet and love the enthusiasm people have to grow plants and to make the environment better.
We leave this property with most of the noxious w**ds removed ( thanks to Dad) We replanted all the boundaries with natives grown from seed on the property. Fenced off the bush and gave a home to many people from all around the world.
T
We discouraged cats and the bird life is now spectacular.
I do hope this will continue. A safe haven for birds.
Last year I saw 30 Kereru fly over, A beautiful sight.
