We design, manufacture, and install bespoke kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and other cabinetry for the wider Warkworth region and are looking for someone to join our small friendly team as a cabinetmaker.
We are a great bunch of people to work with, take pride in our work and love what we do and enjoy a good laugh. Work-life balance is important to us and so is having a great team environment. We pay overtime rates and also shout lunch every month but you’ll have to be quick to beat our apprentice to claim the leftovers!
This role will have a focus on using our CNC and edge-band machines however you will be involved in all aspects of the manufacturing and installation of our cabinetry. No two kitchens or houses we install into are the same so there’s plenty of opportunity to learn and grow new skills.
Ideally we are looking for someone who:
- Has some experience in cabinet making or joinery
- Cares about the details and produces quality work
- Is enthusiastic, cheerful and motivated
- Gets along well with others, enjoys being part of a team but can also work on their own
- Is tidy and well presented (we provide company shirts to make this easy)
- Is physically fit and healthy and capable of heavy lifting at times
- Has a great sense of humour!
Other things which would be helpful include:
- Experience assembling cabinetry
- Experience helping install cabinetry
- Experience with cabinet making machinery
This role could also suit someone wanting to change trades.
A full NZ drivers licence is essential. Pay will be based on experience.
This is a full-time role, Mon - Fri 7:30am to 4:00pm.
