Hey everyone. I’m looking for an experienced gardener to join my team as a contractor. This is a small friendly organic gardening business (organicgardeningservices.co.nz) based in Northland with clients all over Wellington.

If you’re someone who knows, for example their perennials from their annuals and could w**d amongst seedlings without too much trouble, then it’d be great to hear from you. You’ll also need to have an interest in organics, good attention to detail, be reliable and present well. A good level of fitness and strength is also necessary.

The days of work are changeable, sometimes due to the weather and seasonal jobs, so it can work well around other work or commitments. On average it could be between 1-3 days per week.

This is where I studied. I earned science-based organic horticulture and got my own area of land to work on throughout the year. Absolutely recommend it to anyone interested in organic horticulture.

Study with us at the BHU, and we'll take you through a full range of implements and techniques for managing unwanted vegetation across the scale of garden to farm. You'll be learning in a supportive community of like minds, and no prior knowledge of horticulture is necessary.
