This is the first stage of wrapping this Brooklyn property in its own protective cocoon, allowing us to get started on a beautiful new roof while keeping the home safe from the elements.⁠

This stage of the project came with its challenges, including extremely tight site boundaries. To avoid encroaching on neighboring properties, we had to engineer a creative scaffolding solution and the result is pretty impressive.⁠

Not every flashing comes ready-made for the job. Sometimes custom projects call for custom solutions, and that’s where skill and craftsmanship come in.⁠

Steve put his expertise to work in the workshop, carefully bending these custom flashings to perfectly suit the project requirements. With Jake alongside him, the pair then sprayed the flashings for added protection and a clean finished look.⁠

We gave this stairwell at 10 Hutt Road a new lease on life. Bringing it out of its 70s past and into something far more refined and contemporary. Clean-lined panelling, aluminium detailing, and carefully considered lighting all come together to reshape the space.⁠

We’ve kept the original timber ceiling and handrails, restoring them with a bit of TLC so they still anchor the space with warmth and character. Paired with the new finishes, it now feels cohesive, modern, and far more welcoming.⁠

The team recently took on a fun side project to sharpen their fine detailing and woodworking skills.⁠
⁠
After completing a flooring job, we had a few leftover pieces that might have gone to waste, but instead, the team put their upcycling skills to work, transforming them into beautiful chopping boards.⁠
⁠
It was a true group effort, with everyone contributing to turning offcuts into something special. Our skilled builder Phil added the finishing touch, carefully oiling each board with food-safe mineral oil.
