A stand out site on the edge of Johnsonville's town centre, this development delivers 12 thoughtfully designed two-bedroom apartments which invites both morning and afternoon sun.

Positioned on a prominent corner, the design takes advantage of the site's natural topography and ideal north-south orientation, opening each home to an expansive western view. The site's contours enable for an efficient sub-basement carpark that accommodates all 12 vehicles without compromising outdoor space.

Each apartment features a private west facing balcony or courtyard, complemented by a shared landscaped garden along the eastern boundary that provides both amenity and privacy.

We are fortunate to contribute to two significant projects revitalizing High Street in Lower Hutt. Following from our Hutt City Baptist Church refurbishment, we lead the transformation of a tired three-storey office building into a vibrant five-storey apartment building.

The 36 new apartments include configurations ranging from studios to three-bedrooms units, designed to suit a variety of lifestyles. Residents are blessed with fabulous views of the surrounding hills, valley, and city-scape.This project was completed in 2022.

A boutique development consisting of 6 contemporary townhouses, this architecturally designed townhouse development on Armour Ave is in the character precinct of Mount Victoria.

Solari Architects carefully crafted a modern response to the rigours of a tightly guarded character precinct of Mount Victoria. Five three-bedroom and a two-bedroom home occupy the former presence of a nondescript single house. 

The respectful approach effectively meets the current demands for intensification and housing supply while responding to the surrounding context.

Developed alongside , The Lane comprises 28 stylish two-storey townhouses. Thoughtfully designed, the homes feature sun-filled terraces, distinctive street presence, and charming gabled facades.

For this project, we were tasked with replicating existing housing typologies previously developed with this client. This is a common request aimed at improving efficiency, and one we are more than happy to have deliver on!

Iconically located, this grand old lady - a.k.a Chevron Suites - got a new lease of life as 24 new apartments in 2021. Through a conversion and strengthening exercise, we designed 50 rentable dwellings, with most of these being multi-keyed. This variety of apartment configurations created flexibility and value uplift.
