KJR Landscape Gardening Knowledgeable and experienced garden maintenance services of residential and commercial gardens. And softscaping services, planting, mulching, weed matting.

Our main focus is to deliver exceptional garden maintenance on a schedule that suits your needs and the seasonal growth changes of your garden. Each visit includes but is not limited to:
-Leaf blowing and removal.
-Line trimming of lawn edges.
-Hedge trimming up to 3-4m. (Excludes large reductions).
-Topiary trimming.
-Eradication of invasive weeds.
-Turning soil, adding compost and garden mix.
-M

ulching to reduce weeds and retain moisture.
-Fertilising plants by seasonal needs.
-Insect and disease control for plants with the use of organic sprays where possible. (+ rabbit deterrent).
-Weed spraying when essential.
-Pruning Roses, Fruit Vines, Fruit Trees (ladder limits 3-4m depending on the type), Hydrangeas, Canna Lillys, Day Lillys and any other winter dormant plants etc.
-Removing unhealthy plants and replacing them.
-Planting up areas by transplanting native seedlings or splitting existing plants.
-Lawn mowing of small lawns that are included in the garden maintenance.
-Green waste removal. We also offer other gardening services which include but are not limited to; one-off garden tidies, garden transformations and design. Based in Western Bay of Plenty from Katikati to Papamoa including Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.

What a difference some mulch can make in the garden. Not just to hide old clippings and leaf fall but keeps moisture in the soil and suppresses w**ds. Win win.

Lookout for scale insects on your citrus trees this season. You’ll notice leaf drop and the remaining leaves lacking in colour and vibrancy. These little critters suck the nutrient sap from the inside of your tree.
Spray with organic horticultural oil ensuring to cover all surfaces especially the underside of the leaves and stems.
Many different types… this is just one little critter found today.

Casual part-time work available.

I’m looking for an experienced gardener/head gardener and or someone who is eager to learn and loves to get paid to work out.

Each day is different, varying tasks from w**ding, pruning roses, spraying, mulching, planting, leaf blowing etc. Upper body strength is required for hedge trimming up a ladder.

You’ll be working in beautiful gardens throughout Tauranga, furthest boundaries are Omokoroa and Paengaroa.

Requirements:
A positive can do attitude
Experience in gardening/horticulture
Nz residency or working visa
Own transport to get between jobs
Self motivated, can work with others and on their own
Fit and strong

On an average week there’s 3 days work.
9.30am-2.30pm. Times and days can be flexible. Weather dependant.

A german wasp nest no more! Watch out for these in your backgarden. They’re the nasty ones that lock target on you and chase you down! This one was found unexpectedly in a mound of soil while completing a recent clients garden tidy.
