Another B e a c h H o p has again came to an end, we hope everyone got home safely - it was one to remember.

To everyone we got to catch up with and meet it is always a pleasure. To those we didn't get a chance, hopefully next year.

As beach hop is always a busy time of year for us we have never quite encountered this before... too many caravans and not enough tow vehicles. Instead of leaving some behind we managed a new plan. A little bit of kiwi ingenuity never hurt anyone.

We would also like to give a big shout out to a past restoration "Aunt Edna" (see post below) who came runner up in the caravan section for the 2024 year -in our eyes she was the real w I n n e r!

As promised, some updates of what we have been up to over the last couple months.

Take a look at our newest entertainment headquarters!!
A place to relax, unwind, listen to some good music and let's not forget drink some good gin - as you can see the shelves are already well stocked.

This caravan was a project caravan for a long serving customer. With a few must's that needed to be added we were then given free range. We think it looks pretty awesome don't you!

It's definitely been some time since we last posted and that's not to say things have been quite... if anything there actually has not been a moment to stop!

To get the ball rolling again we are going to start with a caravan for sale on behalf of a customer. If you have been around since the beginning this caravan this caravan may look very familiar.

Happy new year to all our followers and caravan enthusiasts!

Recently we have came across quite a few posts in regards to blown tyres so we figured it would be a timely reminder to give you important information around tyre care.

When tyres are left parked up for a significant amount of time flat spots on the tyre can occur causing an instant out of balance effect and delamination.

To avoid this we suggest that you Jack or prop the caravan up keeping the weight off the tyre. Rotate the wheels around every so often, this helps to avoid any nasty surprises on your journey and gives the tyre a longer safer life span.

Once again the end of year is fast approaching and that can only mean one thing... summer holidays and camping adventures!

I would say that we have saved one of our best caravans of the year for last, we will let you all be the decider of that.

This caravan or should I say 'Miss May' as she's better known as has been a work in progress for some time now. With all proper restorations and fit outs magic doesn't happen over night and that is purely because our caravans are crafted to last with no sneaky corners missed.

We could go on and on about the detail and style but we will let the pictures speak for themselves.

"Our Bubble"

Just like we promised here is "our bubble" who is now up for grabs and all complete. Defiantly an opportunity that does not come around often these days - so if your sitting on the fence do not waste any time.

Our Bubble is a 1978 ICI Manro custom 12.5FT caravan which has been kept inside a garage for majority of its life which goes to show for the condition - especially the inside and has never leaked which is an important factor with what makes a solid/durable caravan.

We have done all the hard work for you and refurbished this caravan to last many more years with quality workmanship - take our look at our website to see just the standard of quality we adhere to. Our bubble comes complete with a new WOF, rego, electrical warrant, wheel bearings, tyre's, jockey wheel, coupling safety chain making this a trouble free towing experience. All joints have been reseald, underside repainted with anti-rust material and external painted with 2 pack paint and this is just to name a few.

We have installed at new roof vent with a 6 way bug screen. Our bubble is completely insulated with all new locks and handles. Fitted with a two hob burner and fridge. Inside is a queen bed, fold out table and plenty of storage space. Check photos in comments for inside.

Another bonus to this caravan is the awning or should I say two awnings! The first awning is massive (2.4m) and has been fitted with a new roof and is completely sound as you can see in the pictures. The second is smaller but can be installed on the other side which creates another space, so while this caravan is only 12.5 the two awnings make up for the size.

Take a look around you will not find something of this quality and a caravan that will last for years and years at that!

Hope everyone is keeping well in their bubbles, what a great time to be getting all those 'jobs' or should I say 'restoration's' done.

Lockdown has been a perfect time for us to give our website a huge update, so take a look. Alot of caravan's we have added that haven't even featured on our page. You won't be disappointed.

And last but not least we have an opportunity that with our work load doesn't come around often!!

For sale is this cute little 12ft caravan complete with a queen bed and full awning. All the outside has been done leaving the inside to make your own. We will add more details and pictures once this lockdown is over but if your really interested get in quick and get in contact with us.
