This home, crafted by Six Squares Architecture, strikes a perfect balance between modern design and rustic charm.

The exterior, fully clad in cedar, is a real showstopper. One wing sports a natural finish, warm and inviting, while the other is dramatically clad in charred yakisugi - burnt cedar - stunning contrast between light and dark.

What more could you want in a home like this? It’s a place where the timeless and the contemporary coexist beautifully

This home we designed on the edge of the Ohiwa Harbour captures the views of ever-shifting tides. It has a strong connection between outdoor and indoor living. Cathedral ceilings, mezzanine floors, a portico shaped like the bow of a boat....this home oozes elegance and style.

With schist and earthy colours, we seamlessly blended bold, contemporary lines with the warm embrace of Mother Nature herself.

We embarked on a journey together of creativity and innovation. We didn't just meet with our clients; we delved deep into their hopes and dreams. And voilà, a magnificent family home was born. Stepping inside this family haven, you're welcomed by a splendid, traditional kitchen with a secret scullery tucked in behind. The elegance of oak floors and a charming library nook lends an air of sophistication to the living area.
