Just landed on our project page — the Riverhead Residence. 🏡

At 606m², this two-storey family home sits on a private site overlooking Riverhead Forest, and it's everything a home of this scale should be.

Double-height living, a floating staircase that connects to the upstairs 'bridge', Oamaru stone, timber ceilings, a media room, full scullery, gym with bathroom, and a dog shower (yes, really).

Upstairs, a full games room with pool table overlooks the void below. Outside, a pool, spa, and covered pavilion complete the picture.

We worked alongside Trinity Interior Design on the finishes and material selections, and Hayes Builders LTD delivered the build with real care from foundations through to the landscaping and pool.

We often share completed projects — but usually only through photography.

This time we've gone all-out and filmed a full walkthrough.

This Far North home we designed sits on a rural site with sweeping valley and West Coast views. Bold all-black exterior — cladding, roofing, joinery, garage door — designed to sit confidently in the landscape without competing with it.

Video does something photos can't. You get the flow of a home, the scale, the way it connects to its setting.

We're excited to share one of our most recent completed projects — the Black + Brick Residence, located in the rural outskirts of Dargaville.

This 526m² family home sits on a 2-acre site and was designed as a series of interconnected pods, clad in recycled brick and black Linea Oblique weatherboard. Inside, the recycled brick continues through the main living spaces, creating warmth and character that ties the whole home together.

The home features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a feature bar, full scullery, a dedicated toy room, multiple offices, raftered and coffered ceilings, and a covered outdoor living and entertaining area with fireplace.

A beautiful project in a stunning part of Northland.
