About Us...
Alter-Natives is a place for anyone who shares a passion in living and loving the outdoors. Since 2003 we have been doing our thing to serve the people of Northland with good quality affordable trees and plants... and there is nothing we enjoy more.
We are a grower direct nursery with a catalogue of around 600 species of Natives, Exotics and Edibles available right here in Whangarei. The majority of our stock is grown and cared for on site and is therefore suited to our northland climate.
Alter-natives has grown into a little village now with 16 staff each with an area of interest and speciality. what we have in common is we live for plants and would be more than happy to share this passion and knowledge with you when you need it.
