Exceptional service and the kindest staff. We had a boat to ourselves and went during the weekend right after Eid holidays in June.

For just 12 OMR per person (not sure if the offer is still valid), the package included:

🌅 A breathtaking sunset view on the island
🍌 Banana boat ride that starts calm… and then throws you straight into the water (expect to drink some salt water 😂)
🤿 Snorkeling for around an hour in crystal clear waters
🐢 Spotted so many turtles swimming around us
🏍️ Jet Ski rides while others swam, kayaked, or simply enjoyed the peaceful island views

The guy who assisted us barely knew English, and we barely knew Arabic, but despite the language barrier, their service was genuinely so good. He was incredibly kind and constantly watched over my uncle while we took a deep dive and swam further across while snorkeling. Otherwise, please note that someone was always accompanying him.

This one feels extra special because when we brought Michu Kaka to Muscat, that’s when I truly realized the limitations disabled people can face while travelling. But one thing I genuinely appreciate about Oman is how wheelchair-friendly so many places around Muscat are, making travel much easier and more accessible compared to many other places.

For us, the bigger challenge is that Michu Kaka is autistic, meaning he cannot independently process situations or take care of himself in adventurous environments, so activities like this are usually not possible for him. But this was one exceptional experience where we could actually include him — thanks to the incredibly understanding staff, and my younger brother, who helped lift him onto the boat and out of the boat.
Moments like this make the experience so much more special… because sometimes accessibility is not just infrastructure, it is also the kindness of people who make sure everyone gets to experience the adventure ❤️

Staycation with the girlies 🤍🌊
A year back we found this beautiful cliffside stay in Varkala and honestly… it was perfect.

₹6,000 per cottage (we booked two), super private, peaceful, and right on the cliff with a stairway leading to a less crowded beach. Our host Nikhil was incredibly sweet and handled everything over a simple phone call.

Food isn’t available at the property, but there’s a café next door and Swiggy works just fine. First-floor pricing may vary.

Overall — comfortable, quiet, and one of the best staycation spots in Varkala ✨

A quite hefty on the pocket visit if you are gonna go alone ,but we went together as a huge family so for us we were able to try everything without overloading our tummies and 🏦 bank😝

Entry fee :1.8 RO
Yummy potato -Baked potato -Dont remember the price or the actual name but was really good

London potato -Loaded fries -Had crispy fried onions and jalapeños ,didnt feel like a must try but was good

Pop Lu - Pineapple with Tajin spices -I think the price was around 3RO and if you ask me if thats worth it for some pineapple cubes with zesty powders I would say no ,but its good almost like the food pregnant women would crave -Super sour and gone in seconds

Sultan Burger -Chicken Miskak -Tastes close to tikka -was super soft and juicy
Beef mishkak - was good ,Had some tangy sauces as marinade
Prawns mishkak - Didnt overcook it and ruin it ,so i loved it
Squid mishkak - Has an after taste and for some reason none of us liked it 😅
Each mishkak costs 300 bz per stick

Vikings Feast :Burger -Really good thick juice and super filling ,Has that barbeque sauce that I dont really like but still tasted super good .All of us had a heavy bite .Costs 2.7RO

Bubble Lab -chocolate boba tea - Tastes ok ok ,not one of the best ones I have had ,Cant beat Royal tea from panorama mall for me .Costs 2.1RO and we had to wait over 20 mins

Bin Hamed Sweets -Chocolate Cheese cake -Tastes really good ,but somehow didnt taste like an actual cheese cake and tasted more like milk chocolate whipped ganache ,Has cake and the biscuit base as well.Costs 2RO

Bombo Burrito - Chicken birria tacos -Not that great or a must try .Tastes ok ok .And super small quantity in comparison with others .2.9 RO ,3.1 RO with VAT

Summarising the whole visit -There are so many stalls for potato snacks ,There are multiple stage shows for kids , everything costs around 3 RO 😄And its super crowded so better park your car at the first spot you find 😁
