CAPILLA SEÑOR DE PAMPACUCHO.
Situada en la ciudad de Sicuani - Cusco - Perú, a dos horas y media, al sur, de la ciudad del Cusco, en la ruta a Puno y Arequipa, en las faldas del cerro Jururo.
Construida por los mismos pobladores de Sicuani para la veneración de la imagen del Señor de Pampacucho, ha sido remodelada hasta por tres veces.
Poseedora de una arquitectura simple pero imponente, todo el complejo consta de tres partes bien definidas; una plazoleta, las escalinatas y la capilla.
La plazoleta; usada para deportes, ferias y otros usos, es el espacio que permite tener una vista completa desde diferentes ángulos del complejo, dándole la importancia merecida. Es el elemento urbanístico que amalgama espacial y funcionalmente al barrio y a la comunidad, con el santuario.
Las escalinatas; son el complemento estético, funcional y volumétrico que ayuda a resaltar, no solo a la capilla, sino a todo el conjunto y contexto. Estas escalinatas, que están divididas en tres niveles o terrazas, comunican la plazoleta, en la parte inferior, hasta un pequeño atrio en la parte superior.
La capilla; construida en adobe, goza de una simpleza clásica, a lo cual atribuye su belleza, totalmente simétrica, sin dotes escandalosos ni elementos que quieran llamar la atención sobre los otros. Esta trabajada y diseñada similar a la arquitectura del lugar, donde las fachadas son planas, con molduras y frisos, que resaltan los diferentes elementos como puertas y ventanas.
Todo el conjunto esta remodelado de una manera armónica, artística e inteligente, logrando unificar cada parte del mismo en un solo monumento bicromático, azul cielo y blanco, totalmente clásico y acertado.
Ejemplo de que en lo simple, funcional y armónico se encuentra la belleza, y de eso trata la arquitectura.

CHAPEL SEÑOR DE PAMPACUCHO.
Located in the city of Sicuani - Cusco - Peru, two and a half hours, to the south, of the city of Cusco, on the route to Puno and Arequipa, on the slopes of Hill Jururo.
Built by the people of Sicuani themselves for the veneration of the image of the Lord of Pampacucho, it has been remodeled up to three times.
Possess a simple but imposing architecture, the entire complex consists of three well-defined parts; a square, the stairways and the chapel.
The square; used for sports, fairs and other uses, is the space that allows you to have a complete view from different angles of the complex, giving it the importance it deserves. It is the urban element of sanctuary that amalgamates; spatially and functionally whit the neighborhood and the community.
The stairways; are the aesthetic, functional and volumetric complement that helps to highlight, not only the chapel, but the entire complex and context. These stairways, which are divided into three levels or terraces, connect the square, in the lower part, to a small atrium in the upper part.
The chapel; built in adobe, has a classic simplicity, to which it attributes its beauty, totally symmetrical, without scandalous elements that want to draw attention to others. It is worked and designed similar to the architecture of the place, where the facades are flat, with moldings and friezes, which highlight the different elements such as doors and windows.
The whole set is remodeled in a harmonious, artistic and intelligent way, achieving to unify each part of it in a single bichromatic monument, sky blue and white, totally classic and successful.
An example that beauty is found in the simple, functional and harmonious, and that is architecture.
