Originating from Chinese poetry and integrated deeply into Zen Buddhism, it represents the profound grace of what lies beneath the surface. It’s the beauty that hides in shadows, the suggestion rather than the declaration.

This two-storey brutalist residence highlights clean horizontal lines, bold geometric forms, and a refined material palette that emphasizes raw concrete, glass, and natural textures. Large floor-to-ceiling openings soften the solidity of the structure, allowing natural light to create contrast and depth throughout the spaces. Warm wood accents balance the strong architectural composition, bringing warmth and sophistication into the modern design language.

The residence is carefully planned to achieve openness, seamless indoor-outdoor connection, and a calm luxurious atmosphere. Double-height glazed spaces enhance spatial experience while maintaining simplicity and elegance. The overall design reflects contemporary tropical living through minimalist detailing, functional planning, and timeless architectural expression.
