The All-New Rustica Cabanatuan
Location: Lot 7, Block 3, Acropolis North Subdivision, Brgy. Sumacab Sur, Cabanatuan City
First Impressions:
Bigger, But Still “Rustica”
The new Rustica isn’t the old Maharlika Highway spot anymore. It’s now inside Acropolis North Subdivision with lots of parking and a restaurant that’s impossible to miss when you enter.
Vibe: Spacious, homey, old-classic Filipino. Two dining rooms upstairs + a banquet hall inside. Basic but decent for a provincial setting.
Note: Main dining is on the 2nd floor. Seniors have a walkway on the side, and restrooms are outside.
Food: The Hits That Keep People Coming Back
Rustica is known for generous servings at reasonable prices. Price range is $$-$$$. Most dishes are good for 2-3 people.
Service + Real Talk
The Good: Staff are “attentive and courteous”. Guards even reserve shaded spots. Spacious, family-friendly, wheelchair accessible.
Ambiance
Huge space, can feel crowded at times. Dine indoors or outdoors. Not fancy, but comfortable for barkada and family.
Final Verdict
Rating: 4.2/5
Go to Rustica Cabanatuan for: Big groups, Filipino comfort food, and “uwi sa probinsya” feels. The portions are big, prices are fair, and classics like Sinigang na Baka and Kare-Kare still deliver.
Pro Tips:
1. Go early or non-peak to avoid long waits
“A trip to Cabanatuan City is never complete without a meal at Rustica” — and the new location gives you more space to do it. ゚viralシfypシ゚
