Feature Friday
Ceropegia cumingiana
Common looking vine but has very unique-looking short-lived flowers. This is our first ceropegia that bloomed and it was worth the wait. Very fast grower, if you want to contain it to its pot, you need to check on it every couple of days.

If you are ever in or around the preposterously named 😜Bonifacio Global City this coming Nov. 12, then you may want to drop by at the M0_Space Gallery (B2 9th Avenue, Bonifacio High Street) starting at 4 PM to see this exhibit, which will run until the 12th of Dec. This is a botanically inclined show that also celebrates the influence of the late great Leonardo Co. Contributions from my end include photos of plants observed in situ.

Feature Friday
Alocasia sp. from Benguet
Possibly undescribed Philippine Alocasia with leaves thicker than macrorrhizos and sports a beautiful patterned petiole. Petiole and underleaf color can range from a pale green, hot pink to a subtle purple. Source told me that they still haven't seen this flower even on their gigantic specimens, same case with the widespread pseudosanderiana.
