Once upon a time, my heart resembled a thorny soil, where the seeds of God's Word struggled to take root amidst the distractions and desires of worldly pleasures. Despite proclaiming love for God, I failed to surrender control and follow His commands wholeheartedly, trapped in the illusion that material wealth and transient joys could satisfy me. Yet, as time unfolded, I discovered the emptiness of these pursuits, realizing they only deepened the void within.

In everyone's heart, there is a hole that nothing on Earth can fill. Only God, shown through Jesus Christ, can make us feel complete.

Angkla Art Gallery, in cooperation with ARTipolo Youth, proudly presents the second series of “Introspection II: Isang Dekada” in celebration of ARTipolo’s 10th anniversary.

Art serves as a medium for both self-expression and awareness. It offers a platform to articulate our feelings, emotions, thoughts, and identities. Introspection II presents a diverse collection of artworks that delve into contemplation and reflection. The varied artistry of the young artists from ARTipolo reflects their introspective exploration of life's mysteries. Beyond conveying deeper meanings, the vibrant imagery, diverse brushstrokes, and unique artistic styles also provide sheer enjoyment and entertainment, reflecting the artists' diverse personalities.

Join us for the unveiling of this captivating display of contemporary art pieces. The exhibit opens on Saturday, May 12 at 4pm at Angkla Art Gallery. Introspection II: Isang Dekada runs until May 31, 2024.

Have you ever come to the realization that God was the one who initially connected you to that person? He prevented that severe fall for you.

Retracing your steps to abide with Him is never too late. He's nonetheless keeping his arms wide, ready to embrace you.

This is not your typical starfish. He wanted to return to his predictable surroundings, yet he managed to thrive outside of it. He is terrified of drowning or being carried away by the stormy sea, but he believes that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Another day to be grateful! 🩷

Today, I experienced an emotional time with the Lord, cherished a precious me-time, and had the golden opportunity to be part of the participating artists for the art exhibit of Eugenio Lopez Center entitled "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴."
