My Gymnocalycolium mihanovichii variegated then and now. The first photo was taken 2 months ago. The second was taken about 2 weeks ago. Here you can see the beautiful effect of sun stress. The 3rd photo was taken last night. Notice it slowly reverting back to its original color after being taken out of direct sunlight.
But note not all variegated mihanovochii changes color. The variants that came from Thailand are the ones that changes.
