UAP and IBP forge Stronger Professional Ties
The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) formalized a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding last January 12, 2026, at the UAP Headquarters in Quezon City.
UAP was represented by UAP National President Ar. Jonathan V. Manalad, FUAP, PhD, PIEP; UAP National Executive Vice President, Ar. Chona E. Ponce, FUAP, PhD; UAP Past National Executive Vice President, Ar. Ramon L. Abiera, EUAP, ENP, Arbitrator; and UAP Vice President for Area A, Ar. Alberto C. Dumlao, UAP, PIEP.
IBPโs representatives were Atty. Allan G. Panolong, National President and Chairperson of the 27th Board of Governors; Atty. Randall C. Tabayoyong, Executive Vice President and Governor for Bicolandia; and Atty. Carmelita Y. Sison, Assistant National Treasurer and Chancellor of the IBP Academy.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward inter-professional cooperation on strengthening shared advocacies, advancing continuing education, and promoting knowledge-sharing between the fields of architecture and law. Through joint programs, seminars, and collaborative initiatives, UAP and IBP are aiming to elevate professional standards, enhance public service, and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
