THERE’S NO SPACE!

The Department of Science and Technology Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources (DOST PCAARRD) on Monday educated netizens on the correct English translation of the popular Filipino crop “kamote.”

In a Facebook post, DOST PCAARRD said that “kamote” is “sweetpotato” in English, noting that it does not have a space and that it is not two words.

The department also shared that sweetpotato is one of their research and development staples. (Facebook/DOST PCAARRD)
