Network Plant, Zebra Plant 'Network', Goeppertia 'Network', Prayer Plant 'Network'

Goeppertia kegeljanii 'Network' has undergone extensive reclassification, but is well known by the synonym Calathea musaica 'Network' and Calathea bella 'Network'. More often, it's called a Network Plant or a Zebra Plant after the fantastic foliage. Place in a position of bright, partial sun, in well-draining soil for optimal growth. Placement in a bathroom or kitchen is ideal, as these rooms are typically the most humid. They want to say relatively moist, but do not allow it to sit in water.

This plant is called Ludiscia Discolor - Jewel Orchid, some call it black velvet jewel orchid.

With its dark leaves and beautiful white blooms, this easy to care for orchid adds color without all the fuss.

How to Care for a Black Jewel Orchid

Place in bright filtered light to low light, shade tolerant.

Allow top inch of soil to dry between waterings, approximately every 9-12 days. Water thoroughly allowing excess water to drain away from the pot.
