When repainting old roofs, make sure to remove any peeling paint, then thoroughly prep and clean the surface before applying primer and topcoat. For GALVANIZED IRON ROOFS, prime the surface using Davies X-Rust Metal Primer or Davies Epoxy Primer. For CEMENTITIOUS ROOFS, prime the surface using Davies 1350 Megacryl Concrete Primer & Sealer.
