LESSON 6
Prayer Warriors

1. Prayer Keeps Us Strong

Daniel prayed every day, even when it was dangerous. Prayer gave him courage, wisdom, and peace. When we pray daily, we stay close to God and strong in faith.

> “He prayed and gave thanks before his God.” — Daniel 6:10

2. Prayer Brings Us Closer to God

Enoch walked with God because he talked with Him continually. Prayer helps us know God better and changes our hearts to become more like Him.

> “Enoch walked with God.” — Genesis 5:24

3. Prayer Helps Others

Moses prayed for the people even when they failed. A prayer warrior not only prays for himself but also for family, friends, and others in need.

> “If You will forgive their sin…” — Exodus 32:32

Closing Thought:

Prayer is our connection with God. Like Daniel, Enoch, and Moses, we can pray faithfully, walk closely with God, and pray for others every day.

LESSON 5
How To Study The Bible

1. Slow Down and Listen

Don’t rush God’s Word—receive it. When we take time, it becomes alive and meaningful.

📖 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105

2. Seek God Daily

Make time for God a priority, just like Jesus did. Consistency builds connection.

📖 “He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” — Mark 1:35

3. Live and Share the Word

God’s Word transforms us and blesses others when we share it.

📖 “Abide in Me… for without Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5
📖 “It shall accomplish what I please.” — Isaiah 55:11

✨ Final Thought:
Study the Bible not just to read—but to know God and be changed by Him.

LESSON 4
"The Role of the Bible"

1. The Bible is Alive and Powerful (Hebrews 4:12)

The Bible is not just an ordinary book. It is alive and has power to change our lives. When we read it, God speaks to our hearts, gives us strength, and helps us overcome struggles. When we neglect it, we become spiritually weak.
👉 Reflection: Do I give time each day to read God’s Word, or do I ignore it?

2. The Bible is Our Truth and Guide (2 Timothy 3:16–17; John 17:17)

In a world full of different opinions, the Bible is our standard of truth. It teaches, corrects, and guides us in the right way. We should not choose only the easy parts, but accept all of God’s Word.
👉 Reflection: Do I allow the Bible to guide my life, or do I follow my own ideas?

3. The Bible Changes the Heart (Psalm 119:11; 1 Corinthians 2:14)

The Bible can change us, but it depends on our attitude. If we come with an open and humble heart, God will work in us. When we keep His Word in our hearts, it helps us make better choices and live a better life.
👉 Reflection: Is my heart open for God to speak to me through His Word?

LESSON 3
"Pride Versus Humility"
Key text: “ ‘For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who
humbles himself will be exalted’ ” (Luke 14:11, NKJV).

1. Pride Focuses on Self

📖 Isaiah 14:12–14; Genesis 11:4
Pride begins when we say, “I will.” Lucifer and the builders of Babel wanted to lift themselves up. When we focus on ourselves, we forget God.

👉 Lesson: A life centered on self will fall.

2. Humility Depends on God

📖 Numbers 12:3; Psalm 20:7
Moses was humble because he trusted God, not himself. Humility means knowing we need God every day.

👉 Lesson: True strength comes from trusting God.

3. Humility Brings God’s Favor

📖 Luke 18:9–14; Luke 14:11
The proud Pharisee was rejected, but the humble tax collector was accepted. God lifts up those who humble themselves.

👉 Lesson: Humility leads to grace and blessing.

TO KNOW GOD

Key Text: “ ‘And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent’ ” (John 17:3, NKJV).

1. Knowing God Begins with Truth (John 17:3)

To know God is not just to know facts about Him—it is to have a real relationship with Him. The Bible says in John 17:3 that eternal life is knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ. From the beginning, Satan tried to confuse people about God’s character (Genesis 3:1–5). Even today, many people misunderstand who God really is. That is why we must learn about Him through the Bible. The more we know the truth about God, the more we will trust Him.

2. God is Holy and God is Love (1 John 4:8)

God’s character is perfectly holy and completely loving. His holiness means He is pure and without sin (Leviticus 20:26; 1 Samuel 2:2). His love is not selfish or changing—it is perfect and faithful. The Bible does not just say God is loving; it says “God is love” (1 John 4:8). When we truly know God, our lives should reflect His character. We are called to show love, kindness, and forgiveness to others.

3. God Reveals Himself Through Jesus (Matthew 1:23)

God is not distant—He wants to be close to us. In creation, we see His power, and in forming humanity, we see His personal care (Genesis 1:1; Genesis 2:7). But the clearest picture of God is seen in Jesus Christ. He is called Immanuel, meaning “God with us” (Matthew 1:23). Through Jesus’ life, we see God’s love, mercy, and grace. He also promised that He will always be with us (Matthew 28:20). To know God is to walk with Him daily through Jesus.

LESSON 1: Reality Check

Key Text: “ ‘As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love’ ” (John 15:9, NKJV).

REFLECTIONS:

1. Be Honest About Your Spiritual Condition (Revelation 3:14–17)

We need to be honest about our relationship with God. Sometimes we think we are doing fine because we pray or go to church, but Jesus says we can still be “lukewarm.” A real relationship with Him is not just routine—it is a true and growing connection. We must ask ourselves if we are truly close to God.

2. Respond to Jesus’ Loving Invitation (Revelation 3:18–20)

Jesus is knocking at the door of our hearts, inviting us to come closer to Him. He offers what we cannot give ourselves—spiritual richness, forgiveness, and new life. But we must make a choice to open the door and accept Him daily.

3. Abide in Christ Every Day (John 15:1–11)

We must stay connected to Jesus like a branch to a vine. Without Him, we cannot grow or bear fruit. Abiding in Christ means spending time with Him in prayer, reading His Word, and obeying Him. When we remain in Him, our lives will show love, joy, and a desire to share Him with others.

LESSON 13
Standing in All the Will of God

1. Christ Changes Our Hearts
📖 “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
When Jesus is in our lives, He changes us from the inside. Our thoughts, desires, and actions become new as we follow Him each day.
➡️ Reflection: Am I allowing Christ to change my heart daily?

2. Love Must Be Shown in Action
📖 “Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14
It is not enough to know what is right—we must live it. In our family, work, and relationships, love should be seen in what we do.
➡️ Reflection: Can others see Christ’s love in my actions?

3. Live with Eternal Purpose
📖 “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” — Colossians 3:2
Life is not only about today. God calls us to focus on eternal things and live with a purpose that goes beyond this world.
➡️ Reflection: Is my life focused on eternal things or only temporary ones?

lesson 12
Living With Each Other

1. Love and Respect in the Home
In the family, love and respect should go together. Husbands must love their wives like Christ loves the church, and wives should respect their husbands. When both listen, understand, and work together, the home becomes peaceful and happy.
📖 Colossians 3:18–19; Ephesians 5:22–25, 33

2. Train and Care for Children
Children are a gift from God. They need love, guidance, and discipline. Parents should teach them about God through their words and actions. Children are also called to obey their parents, because this pleases the Lord.
📖 Colossians 3:20–21; Proverbs 22:6; Deuteronomy 6:6–7

3. Speak and Live with Grace
In the home, at work, and with others, we should speak kindly and act wisely. Always pray and depend on God. Our words and actions should show Christ’s love so others can see Him in us.
📖 Colossians 4:5–6; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Colossians 4:2
