Last June 27, 2026, we had the privilege of meeting with a community group from Balangkas, Valenzuela City at CENRO Valenzuela City to discuss their vision of establishing a community-based eco-refilling station for cooking oil and condiments.
This meaningful opportunity was made possible through the guidance, encouragement, and recommendation of our PCCI Valenzuela President, Ma'am Gemma Ong, who continuously advocates for collaboration, mentorship, and the development of local entrepreneurs within our community. We are grateful for her trust and support in connecting us with aspiring business starters who can benefit from our experience.
The group's goal is simple but meaningful: to create additional livelihood opportunities for local households through the collective selling of essential products such as cooking oil and condiments. Like many aspiring entrepreneurs, they had the passion and determination to start, but needed guidance on where and how to begin.
With more than three years of experience in the cooking oil business, we were grateful for the opportunity to share practical insights, business tips, and lessons we have learned throughout our entrepreneurial journey. We discussed basic business planning, sourcing, operations, and important considerations that can help them establish a sustainable community refilling station.
As proud members of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Valenzuela, we continue to uphold the organization's mission and vision of supporting aspiring entrepreneurs, strengthening local businesses, and helping build a more empowered and self-sustaining community.

We sincerely thank the Balangkas MRF Community Savings Group, headed by President Ma. Virginia Bauza and Vice President Norberto Raymundo, for their trust and for allowing us to be part of the early stages of their project. We also extend our appreciation to Ma'am Gemma Ong and PCCI Valenzuela for continuously creating opportunities where business owners can share knowledge, mentor others, and contribute to community development.
