The Zero-Waste Town Project

Hi friends around Candoni area lang. This is just a trial project with The Zero-Waste Town Project . If you want to help us with our environmental advocacies just message us and we will visit you to pick up your trash and convert to cash. Here are the mechanics:

1. We are only accepting tin cans and pet bottles. (Kay sila ni ang bihira lang ginabakal sang junkshops sa Candoni)

2. Conversion price : Php2/kg for clean (as in tinlo) cans and pet bottles; and Php1/kg for dirty (higko kag mabaho) cans and pet bottles.

3. Message us kung mapaschedule pick-up kamo sang inyo cans and pet bottles (no minimum weight)

4. Sa gusto magkipag-partner sa amon advocacies, just message our page above.

5. We are not junk shops, wala kami large storage facility, we are just concern individuals kaya mas nami kung tinlo ang trash.

6. As of now, 2 types of trash lang anay amon batunon.

7. Let's help save our mother earth and promote responsible consumption and production.

We are now accepting PET BOTTLES.

Reminder:
1. Separate the caps and remove the labels
2. Clean the plastic bottle
3. Donate to our facility located at Lawagon Nature Farm

The following acceptable plastics for donation to our facility are the (1) PET like softdrinks and water bottles, (2) HDPE like bottle caps, zonrox bottles, and the like, (3) PP like milk tea plastic cups, cup noodles container and the like.

Are you looking for a drop-off point for your plastic wastes?

Our Zero-Waste Center will soon accept the following plastics:
♻️ #2 HDPE
♻️ #5 PP

Before dropping off your waste, make sure these are clean and segregated by type. For example, you should clean your bottles and separate these from their bottle caps, which are HDPE plastics.

You can also examine your plastic waste and search for the numbers inside the chasing arrows symbol to determine what kind of plastic you have.

5th week roadside clean-up drive last Sunday. Thanks to all volunteers who helped us in this activity.

We are encouraging other organizations and barangays to conduct their own clean-up drive and to achieve our goal to become a Zero-Waste Town.

Thank you Municipal Environment Office of Candoni for the support. We received 10 pairs of gloves for our roadside clean-up drive and other environment activities.
