GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY: ONE STOREY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

A groundbreaking ceremony is far more than just a tradition or a formal gathering. It marks the sacred transition of a project from mere architectural drawings and blueprints into a physical reality. It signifies the commencement of hard work, collaboration, and dedication, honoring the land and inviting prosperity and safety for all the workers involved.

Moreover, this ceremony serves as a symbol of unity among the owners, designers, and builders. By turning over the first shovelful of earth, we lay down a firm commitment that this structure will be built on integrity, safety, and excellence, enduring as a lasting testament to the vision of the Loberos family and the skill of our project team.

Today, as we broke the ground for the new Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Church here in Carmen, Davao del Norte, we did more than turn the soil. We sowed a promise.

There is a profound philosophy in a groundbreaking ceremony. To build upward, we must first look downward. We disturb the earth to establish a foundation. We dig deep into the quiet, humble clay of Carmen to anchor something that will reach for the heavens. It reminds us of the Carmelite truth: that the highest spiritual heights are always rooted in the deepest humility.

Like the Brown Scapular of Our Lady, which is a garment of protection and a yoke of love, this new temple will be a physical mantle for our community. It will be a place where our collective joys are celebrated, our silent griefs are held, and our search for meaning finds its home.

Every brick that will rise from this ground will carry a prayer. Every pillar will stand as a monument to our shared resilience.
We are not just constructing a building; we are building a sanctuary for the soul, right in the heart of Carmen. Today, the earth was opened.

Tomorrow, the walls will rise. But today most of all our hearts are filled with hope.
Blessed be the ground. Blessed be the hands that build. Blessed be the community that gathers.

THE BLUEPRINTS HAVE OFFICIALLY BECOME REALITY!

Huge, monumental congratulations to all the new Registered Architects who conquered the June 2026 Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA)!

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially released the results, and the numbers are absolutely jaw-dropping of 2,799 out of 3,290 examinees passed, marking a stellar 85.08% national passing rate!

To our New Architects:

Behind every name on that pass list are countless sleepless nights, endless revisions, and tracing paper soaked in sweat and tears. You didn't just study for an exam; you built the foundation of your future from the ground up. True architectural masterpieces aren't built overnight, and neither is greatness. CONCEPTUAL DESIGN: APPROVED

Diocese of Tagum has officially approved the conceptual design for the new Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Parish.

This milestone is the result of a dedicated collaboration between Carmen ArchDesign, Father Jack, and the Building and Finance Committee. We are deeply grateful to the Diocese for a smooth approval process and for trusting us with this sacred task.

For Carmen ArchDesign, this represents our first monumental project, a "big step" that we approach with both humility and excitement. As we transition from concept to reality, we look forward to the continued journey alongside the parishioners of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Together, we are building more than just a structure, we are creating a home for faith.

CONCRETE TO STEEL

Ensuring a perfect steel-to-concrete connection starts long before the cranes arrive on site. Precision in the pre-pour phase is the foundation of structural integrity. Before the concrete pedestals are poured, the alignment of anchor bolts and templates must be verified against the project grid lines with zero room for error.

A misplaced bolt group or an incorrect top-of-bolt elevation can lead to costly core drilling and project delays. By utilizing rigid templates, double-nutting for elevation control, and securing the assembly to the rebar cage, we ensure that every column sits perfectly plumb and the base plates transfer loads exactly as the engineers intended.

On-site accuracy at this stage isn't just a requirement; it's a hallmark of professional construction management.
