In the aftermath of the horrific flood disaster in Cebu....Rappler has reported that families has resorted to using flood water for domestic use such as washing, laundry and bathing.
I hereby would like to contribute my technologies to enable them cope with the essential need for WATER by constructing their own WATER FILTERS from scraps. Under the concept of The Green Carbon Capture... debris of wood and other biomass materials will have to be (1) COLLECTED and (2) CUT to sizes by splitting, cutting or better yet fed to mechanized wood chippers. (3) DRYING with make shift tents made from wooden frames and transparent plastic sheets or laying them over the cookstoves (4) CARBONIZATION (while cooking) using char making stoves or better yet, gasifiers (5) FILTRATION of flood water using the harvested BIOCHAR along with sand and gravel (6) PASTEURIZATION back in the char making stoves at minimum of 65 dCelsius (6) CONSUMPTION AND STORAGE.
All these technologies may be BUILT ON SITE and by scavenging usable scraps from the debris.. yero, lata, bakal, putik, kusot, bato, bricks, tiles..... . They can be organized, installed and sustained by a local team of technicians under minimal supervision from the experts.
Attached are photos of some of my work. Inviting NGOs and local DRR responders, feel free to PM me. Will be happy to explain the details.......................................
