𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 - Exterior Facade Design

MMH introduces a modern design vision, creating an inviting and resilient healthcare environment that goes beyond mere functionality. The facility features a contemporary, rectilinear composition of stacked volumes that seamlessly blends with its natural surroundings, including a spacious lawn forecourt, to promote a comforting atmosphere for healing and community support, and swift mobilization towards its front emergency area.

MMH integrates several key architectural elements, including clear entryways for intuitive wayfinding and strong cantilevered planes that define its stable, modern silhouette. To enhance environmental efficiency and patient well-being, the structure utilizes strategic wood louver systems for sun shading and climate control, with the incorporation of deep, elevated planter beds, softening the building's geometry and visual impact and integrating restorative salutogenic elements into the overall patient experience from inside to outside.

In the heart of Emilio Jacinto Extension, Sheba Harvest 's new flagship store stands as a quiet statement of restraint and clarity—an interior that doesn’t shout, but lets the product speak.

Rooted in Japanese commercial minimalism, the store’s design avoids ornamental distractions. Instead, it creates a subdued architectural canvas that brings the spotlight squarely on the star of the space: the vibrant hues of the Sheba Harvest Pomelo.

This is where architecture steps back to let branding step forward.

From the clean lines and raw textures to the disciplined use of light and space, every element is intentional. Materials are kept honest—concrete, wood, and glass—deliberately muted to heighten the visual impact of the product displays. The spatial composition isn’t about excess; it’s about precision—an ethos FACADES Design Studio+ is known for.

What truly ties the interior together is how it reflects the Sheba Harvest brand identity. Subtle nods to its logo geometry, custom display modules echoing fruit crates, and color blocking inspired by the natural ripeness palette of pomelo—all contribute to a design language that’s both organic and commercial-savvy.

By giving just the right amount of architectural presence—never more than needed—the space anchors Sheba Harvest as a premium, experience-driven brand, perfectly at home in one of the city’s fastest-evolving retail corridors.

T- Residence is a study in modern minimalist architecture, defined by its clean geometry, restrained material palette, and interplay of light and volume. The exterior expresses a disciplined linearity, while the double-height ceiling in the main living area introduces vertical openness, reinforcing a sense of scale and spatial fluidity. Careful articulation of façade elements and void-to-solid ratios ensures a timeless yet contemporary presence that elevates the home’s architectural identity.

Inside, the design transitions into a Japanese minimalist interior—where clarity of space, tactile simplicity, and natural finishes converge to achieve both serenity and functionality. Central to the spatial programming is a chef’s kitchen, conceptualized as the focal point and heart of the residence. Designed as both a high-performance culinary workspace and a social anchor, it reflects the owner’s passion for pastry while integrating seamlessly with the home’s minimalist ethos. This synthesis of form and function results in a residence that is not only aesthetically refined but also deeply personal in its narrative.

𝗩𝗠𝗛: 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (Viacrucis Medical Hospital: Eight-Station Hemodialysis Clinic)

The eight-station hemodialysis clinic serving the people of Bansalan, Davao del Sur, is facility designed with patient care and recovery in mind. A Salutogenic structure: buildings that are designed to heal.

Following the facade of the clinic, it features a fluid upwards curve, symbolizing the rapid and healthy recovery for patients served by VMH; the people of Bansalan and its neighboring cities.

The process to come up with the clinic's design was a challenge as there was a need to adhere strictly to guidelines set by local health authorities, ensuring that all functional and operational standards of a Hemodialysis Center are met.

Despite the strict adherence to these guidelines, the clinic’s layout remains functional and efficient, supporting optimal operations for eight dialysis units. This combination of aesthetic appeal and functional excellence ensures a welcoming and therapeutic environment for patients undergoing treatment.

Kicking off PAF NAM (Philippine Architecture Festival, National Architecture Month) feeling deeply honored to have imbibed my knowledge towards future architects at the 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐌 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐄: 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 hosted online by UAPGA AREA D

In the workshop, I discussed the importance of BIM Technology towards pushing the profession to new horizons starting with a simple single step: creating a single-storey house in Revit.

From September 25-27, FACADES+ proudly participated as an exhibitor in the Philippine Architecture and Allied Arts Festival x ARCXPO exhibition at New City Hall of Tagum, Apokon, Tagum City.

We humbly launched and showcased our newest design to be shown to the public, The FGC+ Architectural Interiors which became the highlight of the portion of the exhibits that the studio has shown along with House 9504 and V2 Laboratory.

A Philippine Architecture and Allied Arts Festival x Arcxpo exclusive.

𝗙𝗚𝗖+ 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀 a sophisticated mixture of light, color, and vegetation to be the cogs of a machine designed to be an engine for change.

The interior of the FGC+ Business Process Outsourcing office is a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal, designed to enhance the mental wellness of its employees.

The strategic use of greens and vibrant hues creates an atmosphere of vitality and creativity while incorporating neutral tones ensures a balanced and calming environment.

This thoughtful color palette invigorates the spirit and promotes a sense of well-being, making it an ideal setting for productivity and innovation.

The design embodies a modern approach to workplace wellness, where color psychology plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive work atmosphere.
