Dr. Willie Ong As a Gold Standard of Politicians, An Opinion

If anyone would ask me who among all the political candidates have resonated deep in me, it would be Doc Willie Ong. He's the prime example of a person who lives up to his values and principles no matter what circumstances he's in.

A man of true character. A man who dedicated his life to helping those who are really in need. A man who lives in the service of others. A man who breaks the conventional political structure of this nation. This man is the true definition of public service.

There will be no shame choosing him as my candidate because he's the living reflection of what I want a politician to be. This year I learned that money can never equalize a person's character and values — he proved that. He did not spend unnecessary loads of money for campaign nor accept money from the elites. Truly, one of the few who possess pure intentions.

I might sound subjective here. But how can someone be so wrong to choose his candidate based on his philosophy, character orientation, values and morals? Ultimately, it's because believe that these grounds are the factors that you will not be able to draw from mere paper alone.

This is the second time I became so sure who to vote after Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago. So if you're still unsure who to vote for, please consider voting for him.
