Groundbreaking of Las Terrazas Discovery Grounds today! Designing a children playground and adult fitness pods - a social space surrounded by fully-matured trees is a happy project! As with all our projects, evidence-based data drives our design and a seemingly simple playground is not that straightforward indeed! 🙂

We map out the physical and psychological growth of toddlers till tweens and provided each stage with age-appropriate play equipment. Make it too hard and it discourages young ones. Make it too easy and they use the slide for example head down first to make it exciting!

Pirate ship for imaginative play from 2-5 years where social skills start to develop, to the most popular of all - the zip line from 5-12 years old and more! We are excited for the young ones of Las Terrazas. Congratulations! 🥳

Avally Design Studio designed this home to complement the tropical weather in the Philippines. It features large overhangs and high ceilings to create a comfortable indoor-outdoor space. Large windows were also used to allow for filtered sunlight and wind cross-ventilation, maximizing the design’s suitability with the environment.

A thriving harmonious relationship of dissimilar organisms in a mutually beneficial and cooperating relationship. The three elements - man, nature and technology thrive together in a harmonic progression of sorts to provide better environment and architectural solution to the needs of the project.

We nicknamed this The Okaeri House, which means ‘Welcome Home’ ☺️ A Japanese-inspired design that blends clean lines and simple forms with rich textures of stone, wood, and glass—inviting abundant natural light but also keeping street noise to minimum.
