Located in Itamambuca, Brazil, the PCW Residence is a contemporary beach house designed to create deep connection with its tropical surroundings. Spanning 2,799 square feet, the home uses natural materials like wood, exposed concrete, and glass to achieve a warm, open, and light-filled environment. Large sliding panels, brise-soleils, and extended eaves allow the house to open fully to the landscape while offering comfort and protection.

The double-height ceiling in the living area brings in views of the sky, while skylights maximize natural light throughout the space. The layout flows from the indoor social areas to the outdoor deck and pool, blending garden, living room, kitchen, and lounge into one continuous experience. Designed as a tropical contemporary retreat, the residence balances simplicity, elegance, and practicality—offering a peaceful, nature-integrated lifestyle for the whole family.

PVT House is situated in a serene residential area in Vỹ Dạ Ward, Huế City, with a lush garden nearby that enhances its natural surroundings. The house is designed to maintain a close connection to nature, offering ample natural light, open views, and a peaceful atmosphere. A key feature is the central courtyard, which acts as a transition between the house and the garden, serving as a space for outdoor activities and relaxation.
The house's design consists of two stacked rectangular volumes, with the lower volume extending along the garden to integrate with the greenery, while the larger upper volume provides protection from the elements. This layout allows for natural ventilation and light control, with verandas and loggias enhancing airflow.
Sliding glass doors are used throughout the ground floor, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor spaces. Additionally, traditional ventilation techniques, such as an air gap between the concrete roof layers, keep the interior cool. The design prioritizes sustainability by utilizing natural elements like light, wind, and greenery to improve both the environment and the health of its
