Hello there! We are helping a fellow airplant collector to cover medical expenses of her relative. She is selling her approx 9" Tillandsia albida (first photo) for only ₱1,250.00. A collectors item, this one can grow to a very tall airplant (see 2nd photo), if given proper care.

Yung game na game ka nang umugat, pero wala kang makapitan. Sadbeh. Dahil sa parating ulan pag gabi, at siya namang tirik ang araw sa umaga at hapon, kaya natutuwa rin ang mga airplants. Sabi nga, "di naman kailangan parating nadidiligan ang airplants", yes, totoo. Pero kung kasabay ng parating pagdilig ay maliwanag na sikat ng araw, and magandang sirkulasyon ng hangin, kayang kaya nila magsurvive.

The long and curly Tillandsia 'Eric Knobloch' is in bloom. This one is a hybrid of T. brachycaulos and T. streptophylla and has been in the bromeliad world since 1960's. We tried pollinating this one with our T. ionantha 'Guatemala' (see previous post), so we'll see if it's successful.

Different varieties of Tillandsia ionantha are up for grabs. These are your beautiful, yet hardy airplants that are easy to manage, and quick to propagate. A mother plant can produce at an average of 2-3 pups after blooming. A great addition to your garden.
