With the lot and building’s long axis oriented along the east and west, the living space volume was doubled to aid in natural lighting and ventilation. Windows were strategically placed to permit light into the building at various hours of the day. By using design strategies, heat entering the space was minimized while adding views to and from the building

This residence, situated on a small plot of land, was initially a home spontaneously built during the COVID pandemic and left unfinished without a living space for the owner to use to entertain guests. We were tapped to design and build the remaining spaces required by the client with the objective to elevate the aesthetic of its facade. With its narrow and limited space, we were able to fit a two-slot carport, a lanai, and a living area.
