A Japanese restaurant's proposed schematic architectural interior design was presented to a client in General Santos City, Philippines. The approach to this project is centered around crafting architecture that resonates with people on an emotional level. There is more to it than just constructing functional spaces; it is about curating environments that evoke a sense of wonder and connection. In this case, a design conjures up the ambiance of Japanese pubs along Tokyo's alleyways, which are popular with all types of people, from the average local salaryman who wants a respite from the stress of work to tourist foodies who want to experience authentic drinking culture when the night is illuminated by brightly lit lanterns.

This approved schematic architectural interior design of a modest single-storey residential building is located in General Santos City, Philippines. This project draws inspiration from the Japandi architectural style. The lime-washed walls highlight the wood finish of cabinetry and furniture, which produce contrast and warmth for the humble abode of a young family, along with a touch of greenery and ceramic accents that enhance the liveliness of the spaces.
