Urbano+Studio Architects is a growing architectural design practice seeking a talented, proactive, and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman / CAD Specialist to join our team.
We are looking for a versatile individual who can assist in the preparation, drafting, coordination, and documentation of projects across multiple disciplines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and presentation.
Qualifications
• 1–2 years of experience in drafting and design documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Skilled in 3D modeling, rendering, and animation.
• Knowledgeable in quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Capable of preparing complete and coordinated drawing sets with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and mechanical drawings is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Fresh graduates with exceptional technical skills and a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and revise architectural drawings and technical documentation.
• Draft and coordinate drawings for architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and other building disciplines based on design requirements and consultant inputs.
• Produce complete and coordinated drawing packages for project documentation and permit applications.
• Develop 3D models, renderings, animations, and presentation materials.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and document control procedures.
• Coordinate revisions and updates among various disciplines to ensure drawing consistency and completeness.
• Work closely with the Principal Architect in the development and delivery of project documentation.
