A mid-week reminder to insert tiny moments of peace and calm in your day whether at work or in school:
1. Mindful handwashing (between classes or tasks) – Feel the temperature, the soap, the motion.
2. Looking at the sky (during recess or dismissal) – One minute of looking up to reset.
3. Sipping water slowly (after speaking a lot) – Refresh your voice and body.
4. Mini stretch break (at your desk or near the wall)
5. One song (while preparing materials or cleaning up) – Let the music ground you.
6. Touch something for mindfulness practice (pen, paper, or desk) – Focus on texture and temperature.
7. One mindful bite or sip (at lunch) – Chew slowly, even just the first bite.
8. Gratitude pause (after school or after you have tidied up the living room in the evening) – One thing that went well today.
9. Palm on heart/chest (when things feel too much) – It's a moment of comfort.
10. Silent smile (before greeting colleagues in the morning or before hugging your child when you get home) – A soft shift in mood and energy.
