𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞: Efficiency by Design

Set on a 274 sqm square-shaped lot, Square One explores how a simple geometric form can shape a smart and efficient residential development. The four-storey apartment building maximizes every square meter through a carefully planned layout that balances density, comfort, and functionality.

Designed for mid-range living, the project caters to students, young professionals, families, and travelers. The building features two 2-storey apartment units, one Airbnb-style condo unit, and six studio units—offering flexible options for both long-term stays and short-term rentals.

The ground floor is dedicated to spacious parking, while the upper levels prioritize natural lighting, cross ventilation, and efficient circulation. Shared amenities include a gym, a laundry area, and a roof deck with scenic views of Mayon Volcano.

The architecture draws from the building’s square footprint, expressed through clean geometric lines and grid-pattern aluminum partitions that provide privacy while allowing airflow and light. Slanted ceilings soften the firewall separations, creating a lighter and more cohesive visual experience.

With durability in mind, the project uses practical yet refined materials such as cement finishes, high-performance exterior paint, WPC ceilings, and steel railings—ensuring long-term quality with minimal maintenance.

𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞 proves that good architecture is not defined by budget, but by thoughtful planning, smart design decisions, and the careful use of quality materials.

𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐑𝐓 | From Concept to Completion ✨

What began as a vision inspired by Bicolano artistry and the glow of Mayon 🌋 is now brought to life. Carefully executed with cultural depth and purposeful planning, this 34-sqm space reflects the story behind the design.

To complement the locally inspired products, the design draws from cultural references through the use of natural materials such as warm wood tones, textured stone, weave patterns and solihiya, the traditional Filipino rattan commonly used in Bicol native products.

𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒

Expansive views are uncommon in Naga City, yet Velaris turns the site’s natural slope into an advantage. A viewing deck rises from the land, opening toward the trees, with the swimming pool and lounge positioned at the rear, creating a deliberate focal point where one was not immediately present.

Given the lot’s wide frontage and shallow depth, the layout demands careful planning. The architecture responds with slanted, irregular rooflines that introduce movement and character, shaping a home that feels both composed and distinctive.

In 𝑽𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔, architecture responds to context and constraints through considered design.

𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮, an organic sanctuary envisioned as a private escape, where architecture, light, and water exist in quiet harmony.

The home embodies a warm, flowing retreat. Its curvilinear forms echo the surrounding mountains and cliff-like site, expressed through soft exterior curves and sculptural volumes. It's a hidden home—the façade is subtle, and you’ll be surprised when you walk in to discover the grand design that unfolds at the back.

The layout thoughtfully separates zones: 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 ensures peace and quiet, while a 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚 provide comfort and flow for visitors. At the heart of the design is a 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡-𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐥, creating a resort-inspired atmosphere—bringing the calm of the sea into this hidden sanctuary home.

Designed as a vacation residence, it offers a soothing contrast to urban life, surrounded by trees, natural textures, and 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐳𝐩𝐢 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲.

We’re excited to share our design vision for the showroom of Initial Art, Bicol’s go-to destination for awards and recognition supplies, souvenirs, T-shirt printing, and customized items.

The design draws inspiration from Bicolano artistry and the vibrant culture that shapes our identity. At the heart of the space is the Mayon Visual Wall, capturing the iconic volcano and the warm glow of its lava under the night sky. 🌋

Every corner balances functionality with Filipino warmth. Solihiya accents, rich wood textures, and locally sourced materials come together to create a space that supports Initial Art’s services while offering clients a welcoming, culturally rooted experience.

Within its 34-sqm footprint, our design blends thoughtful spatial planning with cultural character—highlighting the brand and the wide variety of services it provides, while also maximizing space for products and storage.

More than a showroom—it’s a center for art, culture, and inspiration. ✨
