APPROVED A-FRAME MINI RESORT PROJECT!!

This is the second project commissioned by the same client, located in the Poblacion area of Pio Duran. The design features a modern A-Frame architectural concept, which is currently a popular and trending style known for its distinctive triangular roof form, cozy atmosphere, and efficient use of space.

The development is composed of a main A-Frame structure that serves as the central hub of the property. The ground level functions as an open lounge and relaxation area, designed to create a welcoming space for social interaction and leisure. Above it is an upper-level A-Frame bedroom, offering a private and comfortable sleeping space while maintaining the dramatic interior volume created by the steep roof structure.

To complement the main building, the project includes two (2) small A-Frame cabanas that serve as additional guest rooms, providing extra accommodation for visitors or family members. These cabanas enhance the resort-like ambiance of the property while maintaining architectural consistency with the main structure.

This residence is designed in a Contemporary Minimalist style, characterized by clean lines, simple geometric forms, and a balanced composition of solid and void elements. The architectural approach focuses on functionality, clarity, and visual harmony.

The exterior features a neutral color palette composed of white, soft gray, and charcoal tones. The dominant white walls create a calm and peaceful atmosphere while enhancing the overall brightness of the structure. The neutral combination provides a timeless aesthetic that blends well with natural surroundings.

Large windows are strategically positioned to maximize natural ventilation and daylighting, promoting energy efficiency and indoor comfort. These wide openings allow cross-ventilation, reducing the need for artificial cooling while maintaining a strong connection between interior and exterior spaces.

This project involves the design of a two-storey, four-bedroom residential home that balances modern aesthetics, functionality, and comfort within a compact 132-square-meter building area. The design responds to the client’s requirements for a family-oriented residence, incorporating efficient space planning and a clean architectural expression.

The architectural concept adopts a modern minimalist approach, characterized by simple massing, neutral earth tones, and warm wood accents to create a welcoming yet contemporary facade. Large window openings were strategically placed to maximize natural lighting and cross-ventilation, enhancing indoor comfort while reducing energy demand.
