Hello Plantholics!🍀

How's your weekend?😊 After around 4 consecutive days of rain, Mr. Sun🌤️ is finally back again ! Isn't it a perfect day to visit gardens? 😉

Well, well, well.. our featured plant for today is the ever beautiful Asplenium Nidus or commonly known as Bird's nest fern!

This beauty is native in Africa and tropical countries in Asia just like the Philippines. It either grows on the ground or on the trees. Sometimes, they grow on rocks too!😯 (Versatile isn't it?)

In terms on its growing condition, this plant needs a rich organic compost. It needs soil moisture and high level humidity but be careful, the fronds can become yellow if the soil is too wet..🥴

Just like many indoor plants, it doesn't like direct sunlight because it is used to grow in a tropical rainforest where it is shaded by humongous and high trees.

We usually prefer to place this gorgeous outside the house, either in a shaded balcony or veranda. But if you prefer to place this interiorly, you can still do so (but with intensive care of course). You can even add this for a tropical vibe in a wide space bathroom since this plant loves humidity.

Hello Plantholics!

It's a weekend (hooraayy!🎉) and I am sure a lot of you are sooooooo excited to look for new babies to add on your collection!🤗 Just make sure that you are protecting yourself from the invisible enemy and follow protocols 😷 mandated by the government 😉.

Our featured plant for today is this chic little African Ficus Triangularis 🌿
💡It is also commonly known as Variegated Dwarf Triangle Fig!😯

This ficus is slow growing but low maintenance. However, don't take it for granted. The amount of water, light, temperature and humidity is crucial for its propagation and survival.

This beauty prefers an area with bright but indirect light. In fact, the brighter the spot is, the happier this plant will be as long as it's not in direct sunlight. The brighter the light, the better the variegation🥰.

You can water this plant whenever the soil feels dry to touch. Make sure you use your finger to check if the soil is dry before you water it. You water it thoroughly and let it dry out before you let it drink again.

You have a lot of ways on how to use this classy genus. You can decorate it on a table top, put it beside your doorway and it would also look amazing in your bedroom! 💖

Thank God it's Saturday!!🌷

Our featured plant for today is one of the most trending plant recently.

Philodendron Selloum or also known as "Philodendron Hope or Hope Selloum" is a native to South America. It has large, dark green, shiny leaves with deep lobes.

It is both an outdoor and indoor plant. But if you are planning to put it inside, position it in a place where it can get moderate to bright indirect light.
Ooohpps❗be careful ❗do not let the sun rays hit the leaves🌿 It tends to grow in a direction where it receives light so better rotate the pot, every 3 days so that it can grow fully 🤗. You also have to make sure that it gets even and enough light or else the stems will start to slant ☹️🙁

If you want to add a lush and dramatic look in your living room, the cut leaves can be placed in a vase😏. You just have to replace the water every week! (very simple, right? 😉)
It is perfect to put on your balconies, office spaces, bedrooms and living rooms! 🥰

Hello Plantaholics!

Our featured plant for today is Dieffenbachia or commonly known as Dumb Canes or Leopard Lily! 🤗
It is a perennial herbaceous plant with white spots and patches , making it attractive as indoor foliage or ornament! 🎉

It grows well indoors in lots of indirect light. It can tolerate low light, however it's growth will slow dramatically.

Aside from it's beauty, it also cleans the air you breathe!

But❗ not all greens can be eaten❌
Dumb canes are toxic when ingested so please be careful especially for your kids and pets 🙀 ❗
